Original Research
This section publishes original research articles reporting novel findings in basic, clinical, and translational medicine. Submissions undergo double-blind peer review and must comply with the journal’s editorial, ethical, and reporting standards.
Review
Review articles provide comprehensive, critical, and evidence-based overviews of current knowledge on topics of clinical or scientific importance. Manuscripts should present a balanced synthesis of the literature, identify knowledge gaps, and offer perspectives for future research. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses should be conducted and reported in accordance with PRISMA guidelines, where applicable. All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.
Case Report
Case reports describe unique or educational clinical cases that provide important insights into diagnosis, treatment, or disease mechanisms. Submissions should include a clear clinical message and comply with the CARE reporting guideline. Written informed consent must be obtained from the patient or legal guardian unless waived by the relevant ethics authority. All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.
Letter to the Editor
Letters to the Editor provide concise comments on recently published articles or brief communications on issues of scientific or clinical interest. Letters should be evidence-based, constructive, and supported by appropriate references where applicable. All submissions undergo editorial evaluation and may be peer-reviewed when considered necessary.
Original Image
Original Images present high-quality clinical, radiological, pathological, endoscopic, surgical, or laboratory images with significant educational value. A concise description explaining the clinical relevance and key findings should accompany each image. Written informed consent must be obtained when patient identification is possible. All submissions undergo editorial evaluation and may be peer-reviewed when necessary.
